This website is dedicated to an apartment building owned and occupied by my fellow church-members. In a meeting, Pastor Thomas called our building "The Pillars" and encouraged each of us to become "pillars of the community" by making a difference where we live. The name stuck, and although most of the original occupants have moved on, the neighborhood is still a much nicer place than when we first arrived.
