Ethics K Gun Control part B
Matthew 27:62-66 62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. 64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. 65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. 66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
“Pastor Thomas reminded us that nothing we face in our lives today is bigger than the stone that was blocking the tomb’s entrance that God removed. He is still in the business of rolling away stones of worry, pride, shame, fear, or anything else that might plague us in our lives. Knowing that Satan did all of those things throughout the Bible, why are we so surprised when we face Problems? If Satan did it to Jesus, we can be sure that he will try it with each of us too. That is why it is so important to walk in faith every day and lean on Jesus. He is our strength to get through.
Easter is not a sad occasion. It is about celebration, determination, and resilience. We see this in two things in the way the Disciples responded after the resurrection of Jesus.” Pastor Thomas. An Easter Attitude. www.cfcmi.org
“There were those who wanted to absolutely make sure that nobody would ever get to the body of Jesus and let him out. The haters of Jesus wanted to make it absolutely secure, so they not only rolled the stone in front of the door, they also sealed and plastered it and set a guard at the door. Mary was worried about how she would get to the body three days later to annoint it for burying. But when she got there, the stone was no longer in the way.” Pastor Thomas. I Visited Israel in November 2007. I learned what they meant by “Seal” in the Earlier Bible Verse. Sometime Prior to the Christ's Burial and Resurrection a Port had been built called Ceasseria. Scripture talks a little about it. Needless to say it was the largest Purely Man made port of its day. The “Seal” material they had in those days was so secure, that the same material still holds the Port of Ceassreia together- under the surface of the Mediterranean Sea today. That is one of the most secure materials man has ever designed to work with Stone Masonry. If Nature has never broken the top of the undersea wall (its only about 4 feet under the surface) then the technology used to seal the tomb of Christ could not be broken by nature. This breakage then was Part of a Spiritual attack on the Natural World like never seen before. Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
Matthew 28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
Matthew 28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead [men].
Matthew 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
One of the things God is saying by Raising Christ again is that its useless to kill a person who has Accurate thought on Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. And any one who judges and Kills regarding whether someone does or not pursue Life Liberty and the persuit of happiness is in danger of Damnation. The Christian Mothers and Fathers in the USA are bound and determined to raise their Children with this Precept transfixed in the mind.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of [his] brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
James 4:12
There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged
1Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.
1Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Corinthians 15:55 O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?
1Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.
1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
A child that is raised in this manner will not choose to kill another person should the option be there to do so deliberately and not defense of life. To them that: Do not Judge others; Would rather God Judge others and perceive that God would want innocence protected until Gods personally chosen time: Guns would be used to Protect yet preferably not kill. Gun Control over lawless types of people is a waste of time. A waste because it is used to remove the gun from them that use it wisely, and put it in the hands of them who believe that only the State Law Enforcement and a small Oligarchy (A Committee) has any rights. Gun Control over the majority of guns leads to Socialism, Communism, and Monarchy. Not freedom.
Proverbs 22:4 By humility [and] the fear of the LORD [are] riches, and honour, and life.
Proverbs 22:5 Thorns [and] snares [are] in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower [is] servant to the lender.
Proverbs 22:8 He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.
Another myth that exists is that gun violence is less in other countries because of the tightening of gun laws worldwide. However the statistic proves that this is just a myth. In 1998 the Australian Parliament voted to remove their citizens rights to keep and bear arms. According to Robert Levy, a libertarian public policy researcher, in the book (2) Opposing Viewpoints Gun Violence(pg. 89) this legislation has had a counter productive affect. Since this time the homicide rates in Australia have risen 3.2 percent, assault has risen 8.6, and armed robbery is up 44 percent. Also further analyses of the statistics shows that in the 25 years prior to the Australia firearms ban that the homicides and robberies that where being committed with firearms was on the decline. Levy also goes on to state that Israel, which has a 40 percent higher firearms ownership rate Than the United States, has a the murder rate that is far lower than that of the United States. So why do these myths continue to circulate thru the public when the statistics show that these myths are just that, myths.
