Ethics E1 George Washingtons Birthday and Purpose

George Washingtons Birthday and Purpose

Jesus fully understands each of our situations. He lived through them and lives in our hearts today. I go in great detail here to prove the writings are not taken out of context.

1Jo 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

1Sa 2:6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. 1Sa 2:7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.

Notice in the above set of observations making alive comes after dispersing that life. God will expect each of us to work things out with each other so that Jesus’ Kingdom will increase.

Eph 4:2 ¶ With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

The normal problem is doubt.

Mt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

“Pray about how God would have you use your talents for his Kingdom.” General Pastor Perter F. Paine. STEWARDSHIP PT 4: God’s View Of Our House. Feb 14, 2010 Pastor Peter F. Paine. http://www.mychristianfellowship.org/services_2010.php

George Washington understood- generaly -that America must increase in Domestice Product. Not in war and not as a police State. Christians know that Gods Kingdom will increase and that so long as America has a part of Jesus Kingdom increasing it will go well this this country. So Long as a Christian has some kind of influence on the Government it will be well with the USA. That’s why President George Washington stepped down from his presidency when he had agreed to.

“The impressions with which I first undertook the arduous trust were explained on the proper occasion. In the discharge of this trust, I will only say that I have, with good intentions, contributed towards the organization and administration of the government the best exertions of which a very fallible judgment was capable. Not unconscious in the outset of the inferiority of my qualifications, experience in my own eyes, perhaps still more in the eyes of others, has strengthened the motives to diffidence of myself; and every day the increasing weight of years admonishes me more and more that the shade of retirement is as necessary to me as it will be welcome. Satisfied that if any circumstances have given peculiar value to my services, they were temporary, I have the consolation to believe that, while choice and prudence invite me to quit the political scene, patriotism does not forbid it.

For this you have every inducement of sympathy and interest. Citizens, by birth or choice, of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. The name of American, which belongs to you in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of patriotism more than any appellation derived from local discriminations. With slight shades of difference, you have the same religion, manners, habits, and political principles. You have in a common cause fought and triumphed together; the independence and liberty you possess are the work of joint counsels, and joint efforts of common dangers, sufferings, and successes.

These considerations speak a persuasive language to every reflecting and virtuous mind, and exhibit the continuance of the Union as a primary object of patriotic desire. Is there a doubt whether a common government can embrace so large a sphere? Let experience solve it. To listen to mere speculation in such a case were criminal. We are authorized to hope that a proper organization of the whole with the auxiliary agency of governments for the respective subdivisions, will afford a happy issue to the experiment. It is well worth a fair and full experiment. With such powerful and obvious motives to union, affecting all parts of our country, while experience shall not have demonstrated its impracticability, there will always be reason to distrust the patriotism of those who in any quarter may endeavor to weaken its bands.” George Washington. Washington’s Farewell Address. 1796 http://avalon.law.yale.edu/18th_century/washing.asp

It is true we are facing the Devils adaptations to a Christian Democratic Republic. Now is the time to reflect a second time on the third Paragraph in the Above quotation of George Washington. Lets look even closer at one scentence: “With slight shades of difference, you have the same religion, manners, habits, and political principles.”

“Every man the least conversant in Roman story, knows how often that republic was obliged to take refuge in the absolute power of a single man, under the formidable title of Dictator, as well against the intrigues of ambitious individuals who aspired to the tyranny, and the seditions of whole classes of the community whose conduct threatened the existence of all government, as against the invasions of external enemies who menaced the conquest and destruction of Rome.” John Hamilton. The Federalist Papers : No. 70 Previous Document. The Executive Department Further Considered. From the New York Packet. Tuesday, March 18, 1788. HAMILTON . http://avalon.law.yale.edu/18th_century/fed70.asp

And we are finding the popular people must stay in power a little longer at first. But by no means are we to accept new Dictatorships lasting longer than 16 years. Indeed 10 years is usualy too long. And 8 years of rule is almost always suffecient. Unless it proven 88% of the populace will have it no other way. Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.
