Speak not to me of good men but only rather speak to me of men bound by the chains of the Constitution.” Thomas Jefferson

You can only trust someone who has sworn an oath to God or affirmed to God that he will do what he has promised. Scott Skinner May 2008

Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Every Person that seeks any form of responsibility in America had better plan on being a servant to the Public in some form or another. wether your a business owner or in the Government or both.

“Matthew knew that being a servant was the best way to prove you are a true leader. It is better to be a blessing than to be blessed. Even though this seems like an oxymoron since it would be impossible to bless anyone without first having been blessed by God, what is important is what we focus on. If we are looking to gain position by being the “most blessed” or gaining status, we are not focusing on serving. Instead, if we hope to be effective and be a blessing to others, we can run the race with patience and with the right focus.” Purpose-

I John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

“Jesus’ purpose was so clear that it could be stated in just one sentence. Is that the case with our lives? Pastor Paine referenced Rick Warren’s book Purpose Driven Life. He said that if someone was handed a brand new invention with no explanation, chances are, it would not be very obvious what it was intended for. Asking the invention it’s purpose would do no good, we wouldn’t get a response. Instead, the only way to find out what it was created for would be to ask its creator or to read the owner’s manual. The same is true about me and you. Asking us what we are created for will not get great results. Most times, we are confused about what we are supposed to be doing. Defining our purpose is challenging at best, but if we ask our creator (God) and read our owner’s manual (the Bible) things become clear. Here are some passages from our owner’s manual that will help us start to find our purpose.” Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

John 15:17
These things I command you, that ye love one another.

John 15:1-10
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

By Pastor Peter F. Paine. organized by. Sermon. Hosting One Another. Sunday, May 17, 2009: Position- Pastor Paine asked each of us to ask ourselves the question “What do I want? Position or effectiveness?” Jesus was a perfect example of how we should seek position. We shouldn’t. He washed His disciples’ feet after dinner at the last supper. Matthew 20:27
And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

Matthew knew that being a servant was the best way to prove you are a true leader. It is better to be a blessing than to be blessed.” By Pastor Peter F. Paine. Hosting One Another. Sunday, May 17, 2009:

Though it is becoming increasingly difficult to find an Honest person; or to be Honest: it is very important for a servant to be Honest. That way his Masters (The General Public in the case of the Armed Forces of the USA) Know how to make sound voting judgments. And their direct servants- The Federal Government- knows what to do to be on your side.

“HONESTY IS A SPIRITUAL QUALITY THAT CANNOT BE EVALUATED IN TERMS OF MONEY.

There are many practical reasons to practice honesty. It requires far less effort to be truthful than to be deceitful, and in the long term the risks are fewer and the rewards greater. But in todays complex society, the boundaries of acceptable behavior have been blurred until they are sometimes indistinguishable. Laws and codes of ethics establish minimum standards of behavior. Make sure you establish standards for yourself that exceed such minimums, a standard below which you will not allow yourself to fall, regardless of what others may do or say. Your own set of standards will allow you to decide quickly and easily upon an appropriate course of action when faced with a difficult problem. persevere in the face of great odds.” Napoleon Hill Foundation. quote. May 20, 2009

Jesus had the power to take up his life again. We today have such power and can accumulate more. Healings and Maricals are documented often in the hospitals. Also though it is a subtle power there is the power to learn what we call Martial Arts, either dis-arming or restraining others. God Can tell us what to do in a moment. And We can discipline and train to defend and protect the tabernackle God has given us and others. High Technology can and does help as well:

Jhn 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Jhn 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Psa 144:1 [[[A Psalm] of David.]] Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight:

------------------summary

Exd 22:25 If thou lend money to [any of] my people [that is] poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

Luk 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor [thy] rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

Luk 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

Luk 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Mar 10:44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

1Jo 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren.

This Concept is easily summed up by what is called the Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12 above) . There is little doubt that when Applied in sincerity, in Spirit and in Truth the Golden Rule creates more Freedom. Though Memorial Day reminds us Freedom isn’t Free.
