God has given each of us talents and abilities. He has given each of us an understanding. I've done different jobs in life, and each time I've asked, "What did I learn from this? What can I get out of it?"

If you're dedicated to weight-loss, and every day for a week you weigh everything you eat. Let's see, three peas, and four carrots, and four ounces of meat... Is it dedicated if you do that for a week and then pig-out at McDonalds? No.

Baptism Part 3

I really like teaching the basics. There are a lot of things to study in the Bible, but salvation is the most important thing. To be able to teach and share the gospel and pass it on faith to faith, you have to have it first.

So far, we've studied:

• The necessity of baptism in Jesus name
• The name of Jesus brings division

Tonight, we're going to look at baptism in water. The fact that we're even having this conversation is a testimony to the fact that God uses things that are simple.
