forgive

Where The Olive Tree is evergreen, in our Word and Deed

1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Beatitudes: Equality and Precepts 2

Review:

Isaiah said: Who is listening? I am like an artist, with a good voice. But who hears? Nobody. Because after a while, the word of God has been preached now for so long. But it seems like for some reason, iniquity abounds. And not even looking at the whole world, say, this congregation for example, this community. We have been talking about not rendering evil for evil for a long time. We have been talking about separation for a long time. But don't you think that we are still struggling? Don't you think that it will be a long time before we reach the goal?

I remember one time I said to my brother John Jeffries, "We will do something new today. We will try to spend the whole day, every moment, with Christ in our minds." And it was a great day. But you know the next day you wake up and if you don't pay attention, before long you are looking at the wrong thing, and somebody is asking "What are you looking at?"

Let's try something. We are going to look at everyone not according to the flesh, but to see the soul. We are going to not render evil for evil. We are going to forgive. Can you imagine what it would be like if two hundred of us did this thing?”

What kinds of things try to take over your life? Addictions like drugs, sex, and gambling. There is the sin of anger, violence, and harshness. Some say, "That's just who I am; you'll have to deal with my irritability." But that's not true. We can choose whom to be with. We can say, "I forgive you, but if you ever do it again, I'm out of here. I'm not your doormat."

As you look forward to see where you're going, you also need to look back and see where you've been. Look back and ask, "How's my prayer life? How's my studying? How's my teaching?" And if those things aren't looking so good, then put them in order. That's your victory. That's your lion and your bear. That's what gives you the strength to face your Goliath.

Ask yourself, "In living this disciplined life, not giving in to this world, is there not a cause? Is this not a cause for me?" Make up your mind and get down to business with God, because God will give you all that you need. And then work within the framework of the ministry where God put you.

David trusted in his five stones; trust the church leadership, because you hear my message, and when you study and look it up, you'll know that I told you the truth. I don't care if you like me; I care if you know the truth. If the only reason you keep coming is because I made you mad on Sunday, then keep coming. Submit yourself to the leadership that God has provided, because they will help you gain access to that doorway where you'll hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Church, I want you to see the world as an opportunity to be a giant-killer.”

Beatitudes, a dissection of the Precepts and the resulting Concept.

Joh 3:23 And John also was baptizing in AEnon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Joh 3:24 For John was not yet cast into prison.

Joh 3:25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.

Joh 3:26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

Joh 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

Joh 3:28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

Joh 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

The Majority of the multitudes Jesus spoke to had been prepared. Among other things they had been baptized:

Lu 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

Lu 1:14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.

Lu 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

Lu 1:16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.

Lu 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:22 ¶ After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.

Joh 3:23 And John also was baptizing in AEnon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Ac 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Ro 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Watching Jesus:

Mt 5:1 ¶ And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

Mt 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Mt 5:3 ¶ Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mt 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Mt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Mt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Mt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Mt 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mt 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Mt 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Mt 5:13 ¶ Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Mt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Mt 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mt 5:17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Mt 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mt 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mt 5:21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

Mt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Mt 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

Mt 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Mt 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

Mt 5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

Mt 5:27 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Mt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Mt 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Mt 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Mt 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:

Mt 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Mt 5:33 ¶ Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

Mt 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

Mt 5:35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Mt 5:36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

Mt 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Mt 5:38 ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

Mt 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Mt 5:40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

Mt 5:41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

Mt 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Mt 5:43 ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Mt 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Mt 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Mt 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Mt 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Summary of Beatitudes: Equality and Precepts

The only concept we can gather from all this is: Let People see that you are baptized in his name. Let people see how much good you do and can do if People will allow you too. “Let Go And Let God.”

Should “anyone” be convinced another is going to Hell when the other person

  1. Has the Beatitudes in their life.

  2. Has gotten Baptized in Jesus name (see 1.) then that “anyone” is Either not saved themselves; or needs to communicate and be communicated with in first a modest fashion.

Its even safe to say Jesus will make the saved the servants and for this reason will Democracy be his kingdom:

Zec 2:9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

Zec 2:10 ¶ Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

Zec 2:11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

Zec 2:12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

Zec 2:13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Lu 17:20 ¶ And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Lu 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Lu 17:22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

Lu 17:23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

Lu 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Some say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Righteousness (what is perfect) is in the word and eye of God. Please include both Old and New Testaments.
